Step 1 Connect the cable to the OBD2 port

Connect the cable to the OBD2 port (VAG KKL).

Step 2 Access Options in VCDS

Open VCDS and click on Options to configure the connection.

Step 3 Test port connection

Select the COM/USB port and click Test until the connection is successful.

Step 4 Access Control Modules

Click on Select to open the list of control modules in the vehicle.

Step 5 Module 35 - Central Locks

Select module 35-Centr. Locks (Central Locking).

Step 6 Click on Recode

Click on Recode - 07. (Make sure to write down the old code before changing).

Step 7 Enter new Software Coding

Enter the generated code in the Software Coding field and click Do It!

Step 8 Confirmation and Close

Confirm that the new code appears on the main module screen, then click Close Controller.
